JDM Digital Technology Corp ("JDM Digital," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Calibrate: Calorie Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using Calibrate, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
If you choose to enable Apple Health / HealthKit integration, Calibrate may read and write data such as dietary energy, macronutrients, body weight, sleep, active energy, and steps, strictly to keep your records in sync between the App and the Health app. This integration is optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
Calibrate offers an optional Premium subscription processed through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). We do not collect or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Apple.
We use the information described above to provide core App functionality, generate AI-powered food estimates and Premium insights, sync data with Apple Health where enabled, and maintain and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Your food logs, weight entries, and goals are stored locally on your device. Data sent to our backend for processing is used transiently and not retained beyond what's needed for rate-limiting.
You can access, edit, or delete most of your data directly within the App. For anything else, contact us at support@jdmdigitaltechnologies.com. If you're in Canada, this Policy is intended to comply with PIPEDA; if in the EEA/UK/California, you may have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA.
Calibrate is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, with the effective date above updated accordingly.
